LIV Golf today confirmed the signing of four-time Grand Slam champion Brooks Koepka and then revealed he will be one of 12 captains ahead of their next tournament in Portland.
Koepka, who will captain the Smash GC, was officially confirmed by LIV Golf minutes after PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan’s final press conference at the Travelers Championship.

Who plays at LIV Golf Portland?
LIV Golf has confirmed 45 of the 48 players for the second LIV Golf event in Portland June 30-July 2.
They also reported each player’s OWGR in their last post, which is a bit interesting given that LIV Golf events, as of now, do not feature ranking points.

But at least it gives us a sense of the improved star power in Portland compared to London, especially with the inclusion of great champions Koepka, DeChambeau, Abraham Ancer and Patrick Reed.
Three more players are yet to be confirmed for Portland, so maybe we’ll see a few more PGA Tour stars make the move.
Rickie Fowler has been heavily linked with a move to LIV Golf, as have Viktor Hovland, Bubba Watson, Matt Wolff, Jason Kokrak and Adam Scott.
