Michael McConnell, a member of the Los Angeles talent management company Zero Gravity Management, which represents Heche, told Reuters the actor was still comatose and connected to a ventilator on Monday.
McConnell also told the outlet that Heche, 53, has “significant lung injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns requiring surgical intervention.”
Initial reports claimed the actor was in “stable” condition after the crash, but his spokesperson now says Heche was knocked unconscious after being loaded into an ambulance.
Heche was seen speeding around Los Angeles in a blue Mini Cooper Clubman on the Friday before it crashed in a one-story house.
A television news video showed the badly damaged and burned car being towed out of the house, with a woman sitting on a stretcher and struggling as firefighters loaded her into an ambulance.

No other injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made.
The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) said in a statement that it took about 65 minutes for 59 firefighters to extinguish the “stubborn flames.”
According to celebrity news website TMZ, Heche had it crashed in the garage of another nearby apartment building before fleeing the scene.
